Biondo Creative is scaling fast, and we need a Web Designer who can help us keep pace with demand. This isn’t a seat where you wait around for direction. You’ll own real client websites from concept to launch, working alongside a small, sharp design team. If you want real ownership, a portfolio you’re proud of, and room to grow with a small business instead of getting lost in a big one, this is your role.
About Biondo Creative
Biondo Creative isn’t interested in transactions. We’re interested in relationships that actually move the needle, for our clients and for the people who work here. We’re a growing, U.S.-based marketing agency out of Yardley, Pennsylvania, delivering web design, SEO, paid advertising, social media, branding, and video for businesses and nonprofits who want real results. We’re remote, but we’re not distant, we show up for each other. And we don’t just want you to do good work here. We want you to grow, learn fast, and actually enjoy the ride.
What We Value
- Bold Truth: We say what’s real, no spin, no sugarcoating.
- Drive Results: We chase numbers that matter, own the wins, and own the misses too.
- Give Big: We go above and beyond for clients and for our community. Every time.
- Ignite Joy: Work should feel human. We bring energy, not just effort.
- Lean Forward: We challenge the status quo and build something better instead of settling.
- Shape Tomorrow: We’d rather set the pace than follow someone else’s.
The Role
This role is hands-on from day one. Most projects, you’ll own directly: taking a design from concept through launch without someone walking you through every step. Other times, you’ll interface with our other designers, contractors, our executive team, or clients directly, so being self-sufficient and easy to work with both matter here. We want someone who’s solution focused, puts clients first, and can take a project and run with it, bringing their own experience to the table while keeping us in the loop along the way.
What You’ll Do
- Own web design projects end to end: content, WordPress builds, maintenance, and ongoing optimization.
- Work efficiently across WordPress themes and page builders, including Divi (we’re currently on Divi 4 and moving to Divi 5), Elementor, Avada, and others.
- Go beyond page builders when a project calls for it: custom CSS, plugin configuration, custom plugin development, child themes, or tools like Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Mock up larger projects in Figma or Photoshop to get client approval before moving into a full build.
- Take a consultative approach with client feedback. We deliver what clients ask for, and when we see a chance to add value or a different perspective, we explain the why and help them get there.
- Communicate directly with clients, and act as the account manager on smaller projects or partner with our Account Manager on larger, more complex builds.
- Design and build for speed and accessibility, including ADA compliance, so every site loads fast and works for everyone.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of real web design experience, with a portfolio that proves it.
- Experience across multiple WordPress themes and builders, Divi, Elementor, Avada, or others, and the ability to move between them efficiently. Divi 5 experience is a big plus.
- Comfortable going beyond page builders: custom CSS, plugin setup, custom plugin development, child themes, or tools like Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Experience mocking up projects in Figma or Photoshop, bonus points for experience with Figma Sites.
- Working knowledge of SEO and site performance best practices, and a willingness to learn more.
- Experience with ADA compliance and designing sites that work for everyone.
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok to move faster and work smarter.
- Comfortable working independently, and just as comfortable communicating directly with clients when needed.
You’ll Thrive Here If
- You care about how a site works, not just how it looks.
- You want a body of work you’re proud to put your name on.
- You can own a project independently, but you’re just as comfortable looping in another designer, contractor, or client when the project calls for it.
- Reliability matters to you. You take deadlines seriously, and you look for ways to overdeliver, not just get by.
- You communicate proactively. If something’s off track, we hear about it from you before we have to ask.
- You want to grow with a small business, not disappear into a big one.
This Might Not Be the Right Fit If
- You struggle to work independently or need constant oversight to stay on track.
- Collaborating with other designers, contractors, or clients when it’s needed isn’t your strong suit.
- You’re too attached to your own design choices to take feedback well. We deliver what clients ask for, and when we see room to add value, we explain the why instead of just pushing our own preference, so you need to be comfortable with both give and take.
Compensation & Logistics
Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or on-site work as needed. Rate based on experience and scope.
