SEO Specialist – Contract

August 31, 2026

Biondo Creative is built on the idea that showing up in search is still one of the highest-leverage things a business can do, if it’s done right. As we grow, we’re looking for an SEO Specialist to own organic strategy for a roster of clients, covering everything from technical SEO to local rankings to how brands show up in AI-powered search. If you thrive on momentum, love learning while having fun, and want real ownership from day one, this is your role.

About Biondo Creative

Biondo Creative isn’t interested in transactions. We’re interested in relationships that actually move the needle, for our clients and for the people who work here. We’re a growing, U.S.-based marketing agency out of Yardley, Pennsylvania, delivering web design, SEO, paid advertising, social media, branding, and video for businesses and nonprofits who want real results. We’re remote, but we’re not distant, we show up for each other. And we don’t just want you to do good work here. We want you to grow, learn fast, and actually enjoy the ride.

What We Value

  • Bold Truth: We say what’s real, no spin, no sugarcoating.
  • Drive Results: We chase numbers that matter, own the wins, and own the misses too.
  • Give Big: We go above and beyond for clients and for our community. Every time.
  • Ignite Joy: Work should feel human. We bring energy, not just effort.
  • Lean Forward: We challenge the status quo and build something better instead of settling.
  • Shape Tomorrow: We’d rather set the pace than follow someone else’s.

The Role

You’ll own SEO strategy and execution for a roster of clients across different industries, blending technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, and an eye toward how AI-powered search and answer engines are changing the way people find businesses. This isn’t a checklist role. You’ll dig into the data, form a point of view, and defend it to clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, rankings, and conversions for a roster of clients.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search intent research to guide content and site strategy.
  • Run technical SEO audits and fix what’s holding a site back: indexing and crawl issues, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
  • Own local SEO for clients with physical locations or service areas: Google Business Profile management, citation building, NAP consistency, and local rank tracking using tools like BrightLocal and Whitespark.
  • Build links and manage off-page outreach, including press release writing when it supports a client’s broader visibility strategy.
  • Stay ahead of how AI-powered search and answer engines (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and whatever comes next) are changing how people find businesses, and adjust client strategy accordingly.
  • Optimize on-page content: titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and content structure.
  • Build monthly reporting that shows clients real movement, not just rankings.
  • Partner with our Paid Search Specialist, Social Media Manager, and Web Designer to keep organic strategy aligned with everything else we’re doing for a client.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of SEO experience, agency or client-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong technical, on-page, and local SEO knowledge, including citations, link building, and diagnosing and fixing indexing issues, with a track record of improving rankings and organic traffic.
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile.
  • Familiarity with SEO and local search tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal, or Whitespark.
  • Comfort writing press releases or similar off-page content when it supports a client’s link and visibility strategy.
  • A real curiosity about AI-powered search and how digital discovery is evolving, not just traditional Google rankings.
  • Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok to move faster and work smarter, while still bringing your own judgment to strategy.

You’ll Thrive Here If

  • You like digging into data until you find the real story, not just the easy answer.
  • You can explain a technical SEO issue to a client without losing them.
  • You want to help clients win in search now, and as it keeps changing.
  • You take initiative instead of waiting for a task list.

This Might Not Be the Right Fit If

  • You want SEO to be “set it and check back in a year.”
  • You’re only comfortable with one piece of SEO (just content, or just technical) and don’t want to grow into the rest.
  • You need someone else to define strategy for you.

Compensation & Logistics

Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or on-site work as needed. Rate based on experience and scope.

How to Apply

Tell us why you are right for this role, and why now is the right time for you to make this move. Send a short note on your experience, a couple of results you’re proud of, and your resume to talent@biondocreative.com. Skip the generic cover letter, and skip the AI-generated one too. We want to hear your voice, not a chatbot’s version of it.
